LPRW Pizza & Politics
Join the Lost Pines Republican Women on Saturday, August 12 as we gather in Smithville for "Pizza & Politics". We'll be at the Front Room Wine Bar from 4PM to 6PM. The cost is just $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer or a non-alcoholic beverage and some pizza. Better yet, meet-up with fellow Bastrop County Republicans. Make some new friends and catch up with folks you haven't seen in a while. Register now! No need to rush out the door at 6PM. Stay longer if you like. This wonderful pub has a fabulous menu and the food is great. Not a member of LPRW? Join us today and get discounts on all our events.

LOST PINES REPUBLICAN WOMEN CHARTERED BY TFRW
The Lost Pines Republican Women (LPRW) organization was officially chartered in January 2017 by the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW). LPRW membership is open to Republican women in Bastrop County and surrounding areas. Women who are members of another NFRW-affiliated club, or men, can join as associate members. More information is available on the web at LostPinesRW.org.
“Our membership has nearly doubled since receiving our charter in January. We’ve held three events and have our fourth, a casual meet-up, coming up on August 12 in Smithville”, said President Carol Spencer. “If you’re a Republican woman, want to meet like-minded individuals and have fun growing our presence in Bastrop County, I encourage you to join us”, she added.
The objectives of LPRW are:
- To work for the election of the Republican Party's nominees.
- To promote an informed electorate through political education.
- To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.
- To support the election or appointment of Republican women to public office and to provide support to Republican women office holders.
- To facilitate cooperation among local Republican Women's clubs, the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).
- To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates in all elections including non-partisan elections.
