Bastrop County Republican Party's Boots & BBQ fundraiser is Saturday, September 16, 6:30 - 9:00 pm. The purpose is to fund the party's infrastructure, particularly its new office.
A portion of the proceeds will be designated to Hurricane Harvey relief (after expenses and target office funding).
It will be co-keynoted by Land Commissioner Bush and Attorney General Paxton. It is believed that it is a first to have two statewide officeholders keynote the same event in Bastrop County. Not to mention, Republican Party of Texas Chairman James Dickey will speak.
VIP tickets are now available at $75 each. Purchase of those tickets entitles the holder to participate in the VIP reception at 6:15 with Land Commissioner Bush and Attorney General Paxton.
Items donated for live and silent auctions include a historic map signed by Land Commissioner Bush, commemorative flags, restaurant and services gift certificates, jewelry, and more!
All the $1,000 tables have been sold, but $750 and $500 tables still have limited availability.
